Equipment Introduction

The HDP1100 Roll-to-Dynamic-Folding-to-Saddle-Stitching Digital Line is a fully automated solution that converts digitally printed rolls directly into finished saddle-stitched booklets with variable page counts. The HDP UW1100 Unwinder provides stable web feeding, followed by longitudinal creasing and pre-perforation in the HDP SPF1100 Single Plowfolder. Barcode data controls the HDP CD520 Dynamic Cutter for variable-length cross-cutting and automatic waste rejection, while the HDP DFU660 Dynamic Folder changes folding sequences without stopping production to produce 8-, 12-, 16- or 24-page signatures and automatically handle tail sections. The folded signatures are transferred through a telescopic conveyor to the HDP200 Digital Collating Feeder for sequential gathering and barcode-controlled cover matching, before entering the HDP SS4500 Digital Saddle Stitcher for cover inserting, wire stitching and inline three-side trimming. By reducing the number of individual sheets handled during collating, the synchronized workflow improves production efficiency and enables flexible Book-of-One and short-run booklet manufacturing from roll to finished product.
