EQUIPMENT INTRODUCTION

The HDP CD520 Dynamic Cutter offers an exceptionally comprehensive, high-performance solution for the precise cross-cutting of continuous paper webs, specifically designed for dynamic, data-driven print jobs. Utilizing a high-speed rotary knife, it executes clean, single-pass cuts and seamlessly processes paper weights from 40 to 300 gsm with an ultra-wide cutting length range of 140 to 1500 mm. Taking flexibility to the next level, the CD520 integrates a barcode reader for real-time, variable cut lengths on the fly. The system can be easily integrated in-line with a digital press or operated off-line with an unwinder, and features expanded post-processing capabilities through optional edge-trimming, center-slitting, and transverse perforation knives. To guarantee continuous downstream quality, a built-in dynamic diverter automatically rejects blank sheets and setup waste, perfectly accommodating dynamic post-press finishing requirements.
