HDP Digital provides modular finishing solutions for publishers, digital printers and print-on-demand service providers, transforming digitally printed rolls or sheets into signatures, book blocks and finished books. Variable cutting, dynamic folding, barcode control and automatic job changeover enable consecutive production of books with different page counts, thicknesses and formats. Finished products can be saddle stitched, perfect bound, thread sewn or case bound. HDP Dynamic Folding can reduce unavoidable blank pages from as many as 15 to as few as 7, simplifying imposition and improving paper utilization for short-run and on-demand book production.
