The HDP1100 Roll to Dynamic Folding to Saddle Stitching Digital Line converts paper rolls into saddle-stitched booklets in a single pass, suitable for magazines, photo albums, manuals, exercise books, exam brochures, leaflets, and direct mailers. The HDP UW1100 Unwinding Unit with HDP SPF1100 Single Plowfolder feeds the paper web continuously into the HDP CD520 Dynamic Cutting Unit, which cross-cuts the web into sheets at preset dimensions. The HDP DFU660 Dynamic Folding Unit then folds the sheets, supporting quick switching between folding methods to accommodate varied page specifications and short-run orders. Folded signatures pass to the Collating Unit for collation, while the Cover Inserting Unit feeds and aligns covers with each book block. The HDP SS4500 Digital Saddle Stitching Unit drives wire staples through the spine to bind cover and inner pages, after which the HDP SS4500 Three-Knife Trimming Unit trims the three unbound edges to final size.
